I confess - a Friday weakness is a homemade Espresso Martini. It's that right combo of relaxing you into the weekend and an end of week pick me up!
Learn how to make this classic cocktail at home with my easy recipe. You'll need Anni Edwards Cocktail Shaker of course!
INGREDIENTS (makes 1)
50ml vodka (I like Grey Goose, but use whatever you prefer)
25ml coffee liqueur (Khalua is a winner here)
1 shot (50ml) of espresso, just made
Coffee Bean (optional, for the top)
Grab a martini glass and fill it with ice, to chill it. Next, make the espresso and set it to one to side, to allow it to cool a little. Add the vodka, coffee liqueur and espresso into your cocktail shaker, along with a handful of ice (use the ice that is cooling your glass if it's not too melted). Pop the lid tightly onto the shaker. Holding the top on securely (!) shake until the outside of the shaker feels icy cold. Lift off the strainer lid and strain into your chilled glass for a smooth finish. Top with two or three coffee beans, if you like.
